SACRED SPACE – The Power of Geometry

Programme : Create a strong effect for the spactator through a classical treatment such as symmetry and proportion, together with a colour nuance called geru.

You could give several names to my proposal that I hope will be excepted to an exhibition in Paris this autumn; installation, object, space. I call it an object because of its simple geometry, ready to assemble, ready to disassemble.

This object aims to act in space and on three levels:

• the space of our five senses
• the space of our psyche
• the space of universal consciousness

For most of us, it is the first space which is the most tangible, we can call it the visible space. We see it best when we are in front of the object with our physical bodies, 

because the physical body is more tangible than the body of our psyches which we can call the invisible body. Then, the space of universal consciousness transcends other spaces, it only sees different expressions of itself.

This object seeks to have an effect of expanding the consciousness of the viewer to better access the space of their psyche, perhaps even get  a glimpse of the space of the universal consciousness.

With this object I seek to animate the space of the gallery so that the viewer is attracted, so that he has the desire to explore it, to experience it. I chose to work with a few qualities:
